New Peugeot Rifter

With its distinctive style, modern, adaptable interior and free spirit the all-new Peugeot Rifter delivers a unique experience for all aboard. Dubbed a leisure activity vehicle by the brand, it’s perfectly designed to complement your lifestyle, being available in two lengths with up to seven seats.

At once elegant and robust, the Rifter blends the short, high bonnet and increased ground clearance of an SUV with the sporty front end and flowing lines of a family hatch. Enhanced wheel arches and prominent roof rails hint at the vehicle’s utility, while the sliding side doors make access easy for all passengers.

The Peugeot Rifter’s cabin is a masterclass in practicality thanks to its modular seating, generous boot space and plethora of storage compartments. Individually folding rear seats enable you to accommodate the passenger and luggage combinations you require, and an impressive 775 litres of boot storage (five-seat model) is available with all seats in place. To keep the cabin tidy, you’ll find a cooled dash compartment with space for a laptop, door bins and a Zenith roof, which makes the most of overhead storage.

Behind the wheel, you’ll find the drive intuitive thanks to the Peugeot i-Cockpit, which incorporates a head-up display and 8.0-inch colour touchscreen through which you can access navigation, audio and smartphone features.

Standout performance is delivered by Peugeot’s innovative BlueHDI and PureTech engines, which deliver smooth and seamless power and ensure efficiency is optimised. The new Rifter is capable of achieving 0-62mph in just 10.4 seconds, and with remarkable agility for a car of its size, it is composed through corners and settled on the motorway. Even the top spec 1.5-litre BlueHDi 130 GT Line model claims 65.7mpg and emits just 114g/km of CO2, making this a highly cost-effective option.

The drive is supported by a selection of features such as Advanced Grip Control, which improves traction in low-grip conditions, and Lane Keep Assist to ensure you don’t stray at high speeds.

Technology and safety

Available in three trims – Active, Allure and GT Line – the new Peugeot Rifter is packed with kit to make every journey pleasant for all. Entry-level Active models include a host of comfort features, from air conditioning and DAB radio to Bluetooth connectivity. Step up to Allure and rear parking sensors, rear tray tables and LED daytime running lights are added, while the range-topping GT Line offers satellite navigation and panoramic glass roof.

A family car through and through, the Rifter is replete with safety measures, from adaptive cruise control to automatic emergency braking and blind spot monitoring. Inside, airbags are fitted to minimise injury in the event of an impact, while ISOFIX mount points ensure infants can travel safely.
